Hmmm... Sempena Hari Hutan Sedunia ni... aku ada aktiviti nak bagi kat korang... tapi kena tunggu... nanti aku dah set elok2... baru aku postkan kat sini... ok korang... tapi kat sini aku nak paste artikel tentang hari hutan sedunia dan rasional kita menjaga hutan kita... errrmmm tapi dalam bahasa inggeris... kalau aku rajin nanti aku translate dalam bahasa melayu ok...
We celebrate 21st MARCH as a WORLD FOREST DAY all over the world. Why we celebrate the world forest day …???
All we know that if we forget to protect the forest, we will loss everything. For human existence we should contribute our time to protect the world valuable forest. To day, we are cutting down lots and lots of trees, we are destroying the bushes and Agricultural lands to build up Residential Areas. Cities and villages are going bigger day by day. Population is surprisingly growing high, this create imbalance in the nature.
In India, Almost 94 % of forests facing dangerous difficulties. Pollutions, Tourism, Pollution, Agricultural Distribution, woods merchants and industries are the main enemies of forests.
What happen, if we care the forest..???
The forest cover of the earth .In the past there were thick forest on the earth, They brought rains, they kept the temperature down, They kept the soil futile : The roots of the trees held soil together and rain water could not wash it away. Birds and animal live happily in the forest. There was balance in the nature. According to FOUNDATION FOR ENVIRONMENTAL AWERNESS, there are fifty thousand of Progeny of wild life are died, because forests are destroying and temperature is increasing very high. At least one percent of forests are destroyed on Torrid Zone every year. This is warning bell for us, and it is ringing very stongly.
In Gujarat state -India there are 10% of forest on geographical lands, how ever there should be, 33% of forests as per geographical areas. This according to National Forest Policy. To maintain the environmental balance on the earth, we should not cut down trees, and not let to other to cut the them, Gujarat forests had good history, in the past Gujarat covered with the forests, in 100 years history, the population of Tigers and lions were healthy in many Parts of the Gujarat-In south Gujarat and Mount Abu. The African Lions also wondered till the Turkey mountain range. Now, only three or five tigers are survived in Dang District, and we find Asian Lions only in GEER FOREST. In Rajpipala District there were Elephants, Bison and cheetah, but we lost forest and forest lost everything- and all these create unbelievable questions. Gujarat state is coming last in protecting forest all over India.
Many people cut the jungle to make their shelter and for their animals, that's why they are first responsible for to disturb the forest and its lives. Wild lives are leaving the forest in search of their secure shelters, Railway track, main roads, water well, hunters and farmers are also responsible for loss of the wild lives. Biodiversity of forest is always useful to human beings. If we try to check the war history, we surprisingly find that every big war destroy the forest, due to human populations the demand of the fire wood is increased that's why more and more trees are cutting down everyday. many industries are depended on wood, and that's why 10% of wood destroying every year.
According to Prof. DR.T M. Das (CALCUTTA UNIVERSITY) 50-Year-old tree gives 2.50 lacs Rupees of Oxygen, Fertility of 2.50 lacs Rupees, water humidity of 3.00 lacs rupees, shelter of 2.50 lacs of birds and animals, Alumna of 5 lacs rupees and others advantages of 15 lacs rupees every year. The necessity of firewood of India is 2350 lacs cubic meter, we produce only 400 lacs cubic meter of firewood. Loss of 1950 lacs cubic meter of firewood, they Fulfill from the dung and from agricultural products, thus the Indian farmers face shortage of dung fertilizers forever.
About, one thousand years ago there were maximum figures of Lions, Tigers, cheetahs, elephants, leopards and panthers in Gujarat state. Whilst, Kings and Governments declared the protective areas to save the wild lives, later they have known as SANCTURIES, but this decision was very late, till then forests lost many more. Now, it is time to save rest of forests, wildlife, birds and insects. These all decide our nature, SIERRA CLUB of California's activists always put their eyes on government of USA activities against the forest, sacred lands and wildlife. If Government takes any decision against above they come out on the roads and make huge demonstration against the Governments.
Now, time is for us to save our own future and country. From June 5 to 15,1992 many important people of the world met in Rio-de-Janero, the capital of Brazil. they were Political leaders, social workers and scientist among them. they were worried about the world environments and forests, after this once again they gathered at Jonesburg South Africa, but they decide useless, very less people of the follow the rules, Progressive and richest countries are also responsible to create such a situations.
